(no subject)

Today I caught the stomach virus that Amelia caught the day I had my surgery. On one hand, I'm at the point where I'm no longer in much pain. On the other hand, let's just say being three days out of even minor surgery when the stomach bug hits is not fun.

And it snowed, which meant the kids were home. And it is Monday, which in our house means my husband has to work late.

It was not an easy day.

After Amelia went to bed, Finn saw me on the couch and put a blanket on me. Then fetched a hard bag and ice pack for me.

He's a good kid. I think I'll keep him. ;)
