Jul. 12th, 2018 01:03 pm I've been generally doing better lately. I've had some up days and down days but I'm definitely improving.
Yesterday, however, was a notably down day in terms of anxiety.
It is probably no coincidence that yesterday I also returned to that fanfic I had been writing. *sigh* I got a chapter finished and posted yesterday but I think I have to admit that it upsets my mental health too much to write it. The specific scenario is nothing like what I've ever experienced but the emotions involved are too close to what I'm struggling with right now.
I feel really bad about this.
I really don't want to just leave it hanging.
But I'm not sure if it's good for me to continue writing it.
An inbetween option would be to find a way to draw it to a conclusion next chapter. It would mean revamping what was going to happen somehow and giving it a quick end. It would also mean writing another chapter but which could be hard.
