 I'm still struggling with anxiety.  I feel frustrated because I don't want to be like this but can't seem to change.  On the plus side, as much as I might be frustrated with myself I have been improving the last couple of days.  Monday was a disaster (didn't even make it into work), Tuesday was hard.  Today's okayish.  Hopefully the trend will continue.  I'm trying to make myself be more active when all I want to do is hide under my desk.

I just have to keep telling myself that I'll get there.

In other news, apparently one of the faculty members threw a student out of her class because she brought her kid with her because childcare fell threw that day, and did it in an embarrassing way.  This happened in the library yesterday and is likely to become A Thing.  The faculty member in question is a very self-important and generally nasty individual with the social skills of a rabid skunk.  I know for a fact that the student planned on lodging a complaint and may have already done so.

ETA: I am also on a committee that this faculty member chairs.  She has a tendency to hold meetings overly frequently and at last minute with no agenda.  Such joy.



I wish the snow would go away.

I hope she moves to a different committee so you don't need to deal with her.

Yeah. I rotate out at the end of the semester so I don't have too much longer to deal with her.

I know its an uphill battle, but you WILL get there. It can just take a while for the med to make an impact.

as for that faculty member...ugh. Let them be an unreasonable ass NOT IN YOUR SPACE. Thats not ok.

I was pretty upset. I wish I knew about it when it was going down.
