Snowed In

Well, our travel plans are thwarted by snow. We could get up to a foot today into tomorrow. Yesterday was a mix of sleet and snow so we couldn't travel yesterday either.

To be honest, I am kind of relieved. I feel bad about not seeing my family for the holidays, but it has been such a stressful year, I am also happy to just stay home.

I've also downloaded a new on app on my phone, which posts to dream width. And it is a lot easier to use! Woot!

I noticed a number of you commented before that you are also on dream width. I will add you to my circle later. :)

I dislike the LJ phone app, so didn't even consider the DW app, but I think I'll give it a try.

It's nice to know we'll still have a journal home if anything happens to LJ.

If I remember right, you can re-import your LJ into DW later and then DW will have all the comments that people left on the LJ side. And it doesn't duplicate anything.

Yeah, it's good to know we have a backup. The phone app is called ElJay and it works with livejournal, insane journal (is that still even around?) and others. It works better than the livejournal app.

I'm not able to find ElJay in the App store. Do you know whether it's Android only?
